supporting net zero targets
The proposal would support the Welsh Government target of 100% of electricity consumption being generated from renewable energy by 2035, ending our reliance on fossil fuels such as coal, oil and natural gas and replacing these with new low carbon energy sources minimising future climate change and its impacts.
The proposal could produce enough renewable electricity for up to 2,600 homes each year, and offset over 3,800 tonnes of Co2 per year.*
